This mixed use development of retail, hotel, office and residential uses set at the edge of a major waterway in Central China was designed to blur the definition between street edge, open space and architectural massing. Our focus was to create a holistic environment where visitors and residents would feel as though they were in welcoming environments in every precinct of this large active, lush with landscape mixed-use destination. We marked the main access thoroughfare with signature office and hotel towers and created a riverside park that took its design influences from the river, that connects the intersection of the iconic bridge + Hotel complex with the "Villa Park" residential precinct and terminates at the k-12 education + healthcare precinct.
